My work is inspired by the delicate balance between the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest and the intentionality of a melodic composition. From the intricate architecture of a flower, to the towering strength of our evergreen trees. I create to honor the profound beauty of the world that surrounds us.
I love using different mediums such as acrylic, gouache, oil, oil pastels, and once in a while soft pastels. I enjoy creating textures and tridimensional compositions.

Often, the most resonant art isn't born from comfort, but from the tension between who we are and who we are becoming. When we create through pain, the process evolves in stages.
The Stages of my Creative Evolution
1)Art as Catharsis
*Releasing or purging emotions rather than perfecting a craft.
*Learning and growth, externalizing my internal chaos, making it something I can look and feeling it at the same time.
2) Art as Perspective
This stage consists in narrating my struggle. It's a way to start finding symbols and patterns in my pain.
3) Art as Integration
It's the new self. Pain has become the texture in my paintings. I found myself creating things that bring hope, not because I forgot the pain, but because I survived it.
